We offer Portfolio Management, Financial Planning and Financial Education Services, as described in more detail in our “About Us” and “Services” pages, as well as our Form ADV brochure, available here.
-
While we are happy to provide Financial Planning and Financial Education Services without any minimum asset requirements, we generally require a minimum investment with us of $750,000 to engage us for our Portfolio Management Services. However, as we do look to grow with our clients, we may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis and welcome all inquiries on how we may be able to assist you in reaching your financial goals.

We know there are many advisory firms seeking your business. What makes us different is our focus on combining high levels of investment sophistication and capabilities, with low and transparent fees, avoiding layers of additional embedded costs often present in our competitors. We don’t sell products on commission, we don’t offer adjacent products like insurance and we do not rely on high-fee sub-advisors or mutual funds.
-
You can reach us anytime by calling us at 248-781-4996 or through email. We aim to respond quickly and personally—usually within one business day.
-
Our fee schedule is available in our Form ADV brochure and our Client Relationship Summary (“CRS”) which can be requested from us at any time. You will also find how to apply the fees and examples to ensure full transparency on what to expect.
We charge the following types of fees:
AUM (assets under management) fees: These typically range from 0.3% to 1.0% of AUM on a blended basis (each tier having the relevant fee applied); fees are lower as assets with us are increased. There is a minimum annual fee of $4,000 for all managed accounts.
Hourly fees ranging from $150 to $300/hr, billed in 15 minute increments.
There are no performance fees, no commissions, no separate management fees charged by Wellsage.
For more details on fees, we strongly advise potential and current clients to review our Form ADV brochure and also ask questions of your Advisor if any additional clarification is needed.

Your engagement with us will be directly with the people making allocation and investment decisions. It will be personal, direct and focused on high quality advice, reflecting our fiduciary duties to our clients. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach - we are also happy to discuss the why and how of what we do. If you prefer to be more hands-off - that works for us as well, so long as we have open channels of communications if and when things change materially (it is important we are informed, to best serve your interests).
-
Our background and experience includes macro-driven/quantitative strategies, value investing and mergers and acquisitions - but our approach to investing is relatively straightforward. We seek to align our client goals, objectives and risk profiles to appropriate portfolios. Therefore there is no one-size-fits-all solution. To achieve this, while also reducing implementation costs, we utilize a number of our own portfolios, both “core” and “satellite” and allocate our clients to a customized mix. This enables us to tailor based on needs, while also ensuring effective risk monitoring and rebalancing, where desired.
You can learn more about our approach by reviewing our Services page and our Form ADV brochure here.
